Weekend Update for You!

Dear Parents,

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Just a few friendly reminders for the upcoming weeks. Please subscribe to the blog for e-mails when I update the blog, it is the easiest way to find out when there is important information! Thank you!

I wrote in the communication books on Friday, to see who reads the blog regularly. With upcoming events, it would be great to be able to update everyone on the blog and save the Earth one tree at a time!

Coming up events:
March 14-18 Usual Schedule

Tuesday, March 15th there is a Mass for the school, however Kindergarten will not be participating. It is the Station of the Cross Mass, and it is over 1 hour walking to stations around the school. They will begin this Mass when they enter Grade 1. The students will be walking around the school, including the parking lots, therefore the main gate will be CLOSED from 8:35-9:00am on Tuesday morning. If you plan  to bring your child to school later than 8:35am you will need to walk in from the main gate and park on the road. I recommend coming before then to avoid any complications. Thank you for your cooperation!!

March 19-27 is Spring Break! Enjoy the week off!

March 30 is painting day! The students will be taking part in a beautification project to paint the stairwells of the Academic Building. They will be painting with the whole school. Most of the students have art aprons in the classroom already, however if your child does not have one, please send one in especially for this day. The afternoon will be a movie day, an event put on by Student Council. Please send $70NT for your child to watch the movie with a snack and a drink! I will update you with the movie title when it is decided.
Thank you!

March 31st is the field trip, students must bring their health card on the day of the trip! Some other things to remember for that day:
-Sneakers/running shoes
-Sunscreen/bug spray (please apply in the morning also)
-Hat/Face Protection from the sun
-Water bottle
-Snack, fruit and healthy snacks, please! :)

Thank you for your assistance in a smooth busy few weeks ahead! We are coming to the end of the school year and I know the students and I are very excited when we have special events at school! Moments like these make Pre-K a great year of memories and fun as their first year at Dominican!

Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions/concerns! Thank you again!

Ms. Kelly
