Monday, March 28th

Dear Parents,

Thank you for those of you who returned the canvas bag and report cards! Please return them as soon as possible.

REMINDER: FIELD TRIP ON THURSDAY! The buses will be leaving at 8:30 on the dot! Please do not miss out on this special day. I know many of the sleepy little pre-k's often come to school very late, so I wouldn't want anyone to miss out. Thank you for your understanding. If they miss the bus they will need their own transportation to Tainan to participate in the day's events. Thank you!

Today we played on the playground, drew on top of the table and under the table. We are beginning to talk about opposites and they really enjoyed our drawing activity.

See some pictures below:

Table 1 with their beautiful group art work.

Coloring under the table.

First, they colored on top of the table. One picture together! Great team work!

Monday afternoon was spent outside most of the day. We were taking advantage of the nice weather.  We had a brief story time in the library, we finished our science from last class melting the water into ice cubes with our name stickers inside, then we melted the ice cubes in the sun. We were learning that when water goes in the freezer it makes ICE! And when it is melted in the hot sun it goes back to water! COOL!

Everyone showing their empty hands saying "No more ICE!"

"Look Mom, no ice!"

Alex's hands were feeling very cold after holding the ice.

Everyone showing off their ice.

Jeremy Lee asking for tickets to enter the playground. I love seeing them play make believe, it's so funny the games they come up with together.

Reading so nicely together in the library.

Soken loves to sit in this little chair every time we go to the library. :)

Waiting so nicely in the hallway!

Monday was a great day! We are finishing our water theme this week, talking about ocean animals, oceans and other bodies of water, kinds of boats, etc. We have began talking about cooking, order of our days events, and opposites, like big and small, open and closed. Our letter of the week this week is: Aa!
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
