Thursday, October 1st

Happy October! The beginning of a new month and the month of Halloween is here. We will be celebrating All Saint's Day on October 30th here at school. The children are free to dress up and there will be a fashion show/parade for parent's to attend on that day. More information will follow, but I wanted to let you know while you are taking some time to choose a costume. Please avoid anything too scary or frightening for the children. Thank you.

Also, I am still looking for art aprons for art class. Please if you have not already, send an apron to protect the children's clothing when we get messy in art class.

We have been practicing our letter of the week 'R' learning new vocabulary: rabbit, rocket, railing, rain, rainbow, and rake. We practiced identifying Capital R and lowercase R.

We had music class with Ms. Jessica and sang Do Re Mi and Mary Had a Little Lamb. They will be playing hand bells for the Christmas show, so they have begun practicing listening to musical instruction :)

Wednesday, September 30th

Wednesday was fun-filled with Christian Living. They are learning and really starting to enjoy the creation song, and even improving on their morning and lunch prayer each day. You can practice the sign of the cross at home, too!

ABC puzzles in pairs.

They were thrilled to go to the playground and burn off some energy. Although it's been very hot outside, they were loving running around! They are always full of smiles and laughs on the playground, but they are very FAST so it is hard to capture it sometimes :)

Girls were yelling "Ms. Kelly Ms. Kelly!!!" They were so thrilled to be playing together outside!

Tuesday, September 29th

After a long weekend away, the children were excited to come back to DANCE class! They always love dance class, and it is nice to see them participate with the other kindergarten classes and dance! They are improving each week, too!

Friday, September 25th

Looks like the children had an awesome day with Ms. Zeng. She took great care of the children while I was away for the day. Teachers and assistants said the children were very well behaved :) and looked like a very successful birthday for RYAN! Happy Birthday RYAN!
