Today was a busy day! This morning we had mass, then snack time, followed by dance class. Most of the students are loving dance class. It is a fun way to stretch our bodies and it is combined with the other Kindergarten classes. The students have a fun time expressing themselves and dancing around :)
We had snack time this afternoon and were enjoying Chen's birthday cake from K1, Happy Birthday Chen!
This afternoon we discussed a lot about classroom behavior and how to be a good boy and good girl. We are focusing on walking nicely with our hands on our sides, not touching our friends at all times and telling the teacher when there is a problem rather than fighting or hitting back at their friends. It is important to stress this at home also. I know the children are young and want to have fun fun fun, but we need to enforce the rules to ensure the safety of each student. It is the most important thing as a teacher to have a safe and fun learning environment and I hope you can help explain this at home, as well. Thank you for your assistance in this.
