Good Afternoon Everyone!

Today we are pleased so welcome our new Pre-K assistant, Ms. Kelly Chen. With two Ms. Kelly's we decided to call her Ms. Chen. You may see her in the office before or after school and introduce and feel free to introduce yourself :) Thank you in helping us welcome her to our class.


Please remember:

Thursday, May 26th is a half day for kindergarten. Grades 1-7 will have exams this day, just like last semester. Please plan to pick your children up at 11:45am. Thank you.

Friday, May 27th is yearbook distribution day. We will be sending everything home this day, too. We will have a end of the year class party. We will watch a slideshow with pictures and enjoy snacks together during afternoon snack time. Please feel free to send any healthy snacks or drinks as you wish :) Please let me know what you plan to send so we do not duplicate on snacks and drinks! Thank you!

Monday, May 30th is the last day of school! The schedule for this day: graduation at 9:30-11:30am. You are welcome to attend the graduation ceremony for K2 and Grade 5 students. Please plan to pick up your children at 11:45am. Thank you!

If you are attending summer camp, I know the summer camp staff is busy planning so please ask the office for the summer camp and field trip schedule! I know they will have a great time!

Today we had a great morning. We sang songs, ran on the track just in time before it rained, we finished our number 8 in math class, and built our names with ABC magnets.

We are getting ready to end the school year this week. We have a lot of things to send home, please let me know if your last day of school is not as scheduled, starting summer vacation early, etc. We will be sending everything home on Thursday and Friday! Thank you!

Thank you to those whom have already signed up to bring goodies on Friday for our class party in the afternoon. We have yogurt and cheesecake already, so thank you again. Please let me know what you plan to send in on Friday so we make sure there are not too many duplicates :) Thank you!

I am asking your help to explain to your children about the upcoming schedule. We have been singing the months of the year song, I explained that May is Pre-K, June and July are Summer fun at home playing with family, and August we go to K-1 with Ms. Kelly and all of our friends!
