Wednesday, December 9th

Today in Pre-K we practiced the Nativity Play again this morning! The students are getting better each time sitting nicely and walking with their shepherds (K-1 students). They will be singing two songs at the end of the play, Silent night, you can practice the first verse (to :45 seconds of the song) from this link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9T4WB2zfmps

Parents, please let me know if and what you will bring for the Christmas Party next Thursday. We will have pizza at lunch time and take a nap then have a celebration in the afternoon. They will make Christmas crafts, open presents, and enjoy Christmas songs with the class. You can begin to send in the secret santa gifts when you have them prepared. Thank you again!

P.S.  A few of our students have been getting stomach sicknesses lately. Please remember to keep the little ones on a healthy diet and minimal sugar. They need the good real foods for extra brain power and growth at this age. I recently watched a very interesting movie about the effect of sugar on our bodies, as adults, so you can only imagine what it is like as a little one to eat all of this sugar and lack energy during the school day. Here is the link in case you are interested in this sugar study.
